Red Hot Momma!

That's right, we have our own signature beer. Glacier Brewhouse has a created a brand new brew just for us! Red Hot Momma will be officially launched Saturday 11/14/09. Be sure to come down and enjoy some great food and live music with a pint of our new beer.

Red Hot Momma 8.9 abv 15 B.U. Red, malty, smooth and medium bodied with lucious hints of chocolate & caramel. Malt plays a defining role in the profile of this ale. Several malts are combined with pale malt to form a wonderful malt profile. American hops provide a medium bitterness. A special ale yeast was used to ferment this beer.

Old Rasputin Russian Imperial Stout

Produced in the tradition of 18th Century English brewers who supplied the court of Russia's Catherine the Great, Old Rasputin seems to develop a cult following wherever it goes. It's a rich, intense brew with big complex flavors and a warming finish. Style: Russian Imperial Stout

Ayinger Celebrator Doppelbock

Originally brewed at a monastery in northern Italy, "double bock" was quickly introduced by Bavarian brewers to compete with bock. Doppelbock names end with the suffix "-ator.  "Celebrator is a profoundly dark, rich elixir with a complex fruitiness of roasted malt and whole hop flowers. Semi-dry finish.Enjoy with pastries and desserts, roast goose, cured ham, smoked duck, wild turkey, filet with Dijon sauce, chanterelles, Tournedos Rossini, Châteaubriand, or with a fine cigar after dinner.  Source

Orval

Brewed and bottle-conditioned at Orval monastery founded in the 1100s in the pastoral Belgium countryside. Three different malts, two types of hops, Belgian candi sugar, complex fermentation with multiple yeasts, dry-hopping and bottle conditioning all contibute to great character and complexity. This vintage-dated chardonnay of the beer world can be cellared up to five years. The Abbey of Orval is located near Florenville, Belgium in the provence of Luxembourg. The present brewery was completed in 1929, at which time the skittle (pin)-shaped bottle and Orval chalice were introduced. (Brewery, bottle, and chalice were all designed by architect Henry Vaes.) In the middle ages, Orval was famous for producing its iron decoration as well as beer. The abbey was gutted by fire in 1252 & repaired, then was destroyed during the French Revolution. Sunset-orange color; a fruity and slightly acidic bouquet, firm body, profound hop bitterness, and long, dry finish. Mild semisoft cheese, warm brown bread, fresh pears, steamed mussels, clams in Pernod cream sauce, oysters, smoked salmon and trout, and calamari. Traditionally served in Orval chalices to capture the big bouquet and lovely "Belgian Lace." Excellent with a handmade cigar.  Source

Rogue Chipotle Ale

Dedicated to Spanish author Juan de la Cueva, who, in 1575, wrote of a an dish that combined seedless chipotles with beer: Chipotle Ale is based on Rogue's American Amber Ale, but delicately spiced with smoked jalapeno (chipotle) chile peppers. Deep amber in color with a tight head, rich malty aroma, delicately smooth and crisp flavor, and subtle chipotle chili finish. Chipotle Ale is created from Northwest Harrington, Klages, and Maier Munich Malts; Willamette and Cascade hops; and Chipolte (smoked jalapeno) Peppers. Available in a 22-ounce (12/case), 12-ounce (24 loose/case) screened bottles, and on draft. Blend it with Rogue Chocolate Stout and create a Mole' black and tan!
